When I started this course, it never occurred to me that an E-Portfolio would set the foundation in creativity and critical thinking. Using an E-Portfolio will help me grow professionally and learn the fundamentals of web design to showcase my accomplishments and experiences throughout this master’s degree. In using an e-Portfolio, it will allow me to stay engaged with my work through my journey and allow me to reflect on the challenges I've overcome (Harapnuik, 2023). Documenting your work can help you keep track and set goals which can help me stay focused and motivated. It has allowed me to research more in depth on certain topics which has allowed me to interact with my group on a deeper level when discussing a topic.
Using an E-portfolio allows for opportunities to collaborate with other who work in the same industry. It can open doors which can help individuals network with each other and showcase their accomplishments and skills. An E-portfolio can allow employers to look at your work and present future job opportunities to those who are looking to work in a certain industry. An E-portfolio can be a great reference of knowledge to others who are looking to get into the same industry.
The benefits of using an E-portfolio in the future can allow me to grow and advance in my career. I can continue adding on to my Portfolio with new experiences and accomplishments which can help me gain attention from employers. Being able to quickly update and change certain aspects of my portfolio can allow me to keep up with the current job market. As I look back in my journey, I will be able to reflect and realize how much I have grown since I started and to where I’ve gotten.
